Pond Maintenance
Like the rest of the garden the pond needs maintenace too
Seasonal Jobs can include
- Cutting back any marginal plants
- Removing any leaves & debrie to stop too much material collecting and decaying the pond
- Clean any filters and replace UV lighting
- As the temperatue starts to warm up, Start to feed any fish with a high protein diet. Be careful not to over feed them as any waste food that is not fully digested can contaminate the water which can be a factor in making fish prone to disease.
